Recent Activities
OCIA (Order of Catholic Initiation of Adults)
The Rite of Election was held on Saturday, March 8 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph with Bishop Oscar Cantú. Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil, thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults. The Rite of Election includes the enrollment of names of all the Catechumens seeking baptism at the coming Easter Vigil. The Catechumens, their sponsors and families gather at the cathedral church as the Catechumens publicly express their desire for baptism to the bishop. Their names are recorded in a book and they are called the Elect.
St Victor Parish will welcome 9 people to the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil.
Walk for Life West Coast
On Saturday, January 25, a group of St Victor parishioners traveled by bus to attend the Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco, joining other pro-lifers from all over California and beyond to stand up for the littlest among us.
St Victor Advent Retreat
On December 1st, St Victor Parish held its annual Advent Retreat. The theme was "Be Alert, Shepherds". With Fr John as our speaker, he tied in the key Advent meanings of "Come", "Wait", "Watch". Activities included making a cookie mix gift to share and a family Advent Wreath. The Retreat concluded with a meal shared together.

St. Victor’s Parish Food Pantry distribute food and produce to the needy on
a monthly basis.
